1968-1976 Participation of experts and specialists from “Horizont AL” in technical management, planning and building of the rope transport network in Slavsko, Lviv region (7 ski lifts on Trostyan and Pogar mountains, chairlift on Trostyan mountain 2700 m in length).
First of time drilling piles were used for fundaments of the rope installation. For ski lifts the fundament-loss masts were applied being still in operation.
1978-1983 Participation of experts and specialists from “Horizont AL” in technical management, planning and building of three rope installations in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russian Federation).
1980 Gaining of Mr. A. Lawitskyj Ph.D. degree. His dissertation with a title “Study of multi-span ropes during their operation in circular rope installations” made a basis to develop and use in practice a software package for the System of automatic projecting of rope installations.
1981 Start of the project “System of automatic projecting of rope installations”.
1986-1990 Few ski lifts 15-55 kW in power were designed under management of Dr. Lawitskyj.
1988 Scientific-technical co-operative “Horizont” has been grounded.
1989 Fabrication, project, montage and startup of the ski lift in Yablunitsa village 950 m long. The first Ukrainian lift installation
1994 Scientific-technical co-operative “Horizont” has been reorganized in private company “Horizont AL”.
2001 Private company “Horizont AL” became a collective member of the Ukrainian Lifting-transport Academy.
2001 A new direction – development of project proposals (Master Plans) for planning and development of ski resorts using geo-information technologies – has been started.
2001 Start of the works on developing a ski resort “Bukovel” in the vicinity to Polyanytsa village (Ivano-Frankivsk region).
2001 Project, montage, startup, set in operation of the first ski lift in “Bukovel” resort.
2002 Getting the license from the Ukrainian Government technical supervision and safety Body for projecting, assembling and startup works of passenger ski lifts and chairlifts.
2002 Start of the development Vysoky Verkh mountain (Volosyanka village, Lviv region). Development of the project proposals of the ski resort “Zakhar Berkut”.
2002 "Horizont AL" became an official Ukrainian representative of Multi Skiliftbau GmbH (Germany) – the company producing and supplying small Multi-lifts for skiers and tubing, children ski carousels etc.
2003 Start of the development Gymba mountain (Pylypets village, Transcarpathian region).
Project, montage, startup, set in operation of a ski lift 1500 m in length – high-speed and the longest ski lift in the Ukrainian Carpathians (the first ski lift in the ski resort "Shypit").
2004 Project, montage, startup, set in operation of the first ski lift in the ski resort “Zakhar Berkut”.
2006 Getting the government license for building works.
2006 “Horizont AL” company in co-operation with the State Department on supervisory and safety have been developed the “Rules on building and safety operation of ski lifts”.
2007 Introduction of the nature- and energy-saving building technologies during building of rope installations in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
2009 According to the contract with Doppelmayr company the adaptation of the project, montage and startup of a new ski lift installation APP-270 was carried out in Kiev.
